Watch in HD! This vid is from Wednesday’s testing session @ Autobahn Country Club, featuring more brake squeal haha! For the first time in awhile I really pushed the car around track…felt good. It’s kinda sloppy, but sometimes that happens. Enjoy the vid, and thanks to AMS for getting the car prepped so quickly! Off to Vegas, Redline Time Attack this weekend at Spring Mountain…come out if your live near Vegas! I will Have some posters with me!

Ryan Gates battles alignment problems and takes 3rd @ Redline Time Attack -Willow Springs

RTA Willow Springs…woof.

After a great week of testing at Infineon Raceway, we were all pumped to head to Willow to see how the car would finally stack up with a solid AMS engine package. The car was making great power, enough to actually make it the World’s Fastest Evo X (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5sbhuWG4vI)! With all of the engine issues sorted, things were looking great for the ‘Liberty Grand Prix’ at Willow Springs.

Back on track! – Ryan Gates Autobahn Redline Time Attack Race report

Autobahn 2010 Race Report

Finally, the Gates311. com / Nitto Tires Evo X made it’s 2010 track debut! With a completely new setup, we’ve all be curious to see how it’d stack up to all the new competition in Modified class for 2010. Despite some issues, the car still performed awesome….we debuted with a 2nd place finish at Autobahn, not 1st place but there’s plenty of positive things that came out of the event. Cobb Tuning took 1st in their nasty widebody GT-R, about 7/10ths of a second ahead, congrats to them! We both beat my previous lap record with 1:28’s.

Nathan Pitcher / 929 AMS EVO takes 4th in Street AWD class- Autobahn Redline Time Attack

2 Tracks in 2 Days! Part 2 of 2

Fresh off a successful trackday with NASA @ BlackHawk Farms where I took 1st in class and set a class record we were headed to Autobahn for the Redline event.

It was a short nap but I was just happy to be there. Sat had been so hot and frustrating. Heck, the whole week was a chore to get ready. As my car is prepped for NASA TTB, there’s a whole different set of rules for Redline Street class. I had to install new seats, a new exhaust for clearance, reinstall my center console and some other misc odd things to be legal in their ‘Street’ class.
