*AMS Product Release* AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII/VIII/IX Turbo Tuner Kit


We wanted to congratulate our dealer Tensai Tuning and their customer Ahli out of Abu Dhabi / UAE for running quite an impressive time this past weekend at the MEGTROC and GTZ Charity Drag Event.
The car was built and tuned by local AMS Dealer Tensai Tuning to a very conservative 860whp/800tq on their very low reading mustang Dyno. From what we know of this dyno it would be roughly 950-975whp on our Dynojet.
Despite some fairly poor track conditions Ahli was able to go out and run two back to back 9.80@247.96kph (153.7mph) passes. Making him currently the quickest R35 GT-R in the UAE.
Congratulations to Ahli and Tensai tuning for the great run and we are sure with better conditions an even quicker and faster time is right around the corner!
Recently we have been talking about some small additions to our part catalog that helped us achieve power beyond that of the ALPHA 12. During testing on our ALPHA 12 car on low boost we saw GREAT improvements in HP and torque across the entire power band. For those looking for a bump in power on any level of GT-R our throttle body porting service is the way to go! We have ported cores on the shelf ready to go for exchange!!!

With a slightly damp track and clouds looming, we chose to go out on rain tires where most of the front runners went out on dries. Once the track dried up we slipped back a few places until the rain finally hit as we had planned. The advantage swung back in our favor and we were able to get back to the lead and the win.”

The AMS Subaru GD/SG Chassis 3/8” Rear Body Lift Spacers were designed to remedy the unattractive rear squatting or “saggy butt” issue. CAD designed and Water-Jet cut, these corrosion resistant 6061 aluminum spacers provide an easy, quick and affordable solution to provide a much more attractive “raked” look. During design, we’ve found that a 3/8” spacer is the maximum height possible to allow for proper thread engagement on the factory strut hat studs and fastening nuts. We have been shipping some of our Alpha 10 and 12 kits this week and in order to write up detailed instructions we installed a kit on one of the VR38 Core long blocks we have here. Its pretty impressive looking all assembled and bolted to the motor so I wanted to share some pictures of it.
