AMS/ALPHA GT-R parts now available in Japan at Tokyo Auto Salon

Recently AMS was contacted by Tomei to ask permission to distribute our products in Japan.  Coming from such a great tuner we were honored for the opportunity.  Now thanks to Garage G-Force (http://www.gf-eng.co.jp/) you can now source AMS and ALPHA GT-R parts in Japan.

Look out Canada! 817whp ALPHA 9 Track/Daily Driver GT-R

Posted Image

We just finished up another unique ALPHA 9 build. Craig drives his GT-R… I mean REALLY drives it. This is no garage queen or weekend toy. Craig puts miles on this car every day and in all weather conditions. We even had to replace a few items thanks to salt putting a beating on them.

Craig’s car came to us as a traditional ALPHA 6 car. He tracks the car regularly and wanted more power for the road course and more to play around with on the streets. In addition to our traditional ALPHA 9 power package we added HKS inlet pipes, DCT Cooler, A built transmission by Shep trans and a tried and true AMS 3.8L long block complete with AMS ALPHA series camshafts. 1300whp AMS ALPHA 12 Speedometer Video

Recently we took our AMS ALPHA 12 equipped GT-R to the drag strip for some performance testing. The goal was to put the car through a series of abuse drag runs in order to solidify the engineering put behind it. Durring that testing we broke the record for HP, ET, MPH and 60-130 for a GT-R. This follow up video to that run show us using our TrackVision software to overlay the speedo on the record breaking run. Over 1300Whp, 9.05@166.66 with massive wheel spin all the way through 4th gear in BLISTERING heat and a 60-130mph time of 3.46. The ALPHA 12 has proven itself as the ALPHA of all GT-R performance packages!

**AMS Product Release** AMS Nissan R35 GT-R Alpha Fuel System

AMS Nissan R35 GT-R Alpha Fuel System Upgrade Kit

The AMS Nissan GT-R Alpha Fuel System is a no compromise solution for GT-R owners in need of fuel delivery to support up to 1300hp.

Bigger Capabilities With Less Hassle

Most aftermarket fuel systems for the GT-R require extensive, permanent modifications to the factory sending units or bulky, potentially unsafe, fuel components in the trunk of the vehicle. The AMS solution prevents all of this by neatly housing all of the fuel system upgrades inside the factory fuel tank! Read more…

David Kern and AMS Hill Climb EVO set a new record at the Continental Divide Hill Climb!

AMS Performance Hill Climb EVO 2010 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

We had a relatively fun and successful time at Monarch. Relatively meaning it was not racing evil reincarnated as much of our season has been. We broke the record for the Rally AWD class (whoohoo! we were hauling), but we also had some bad luck and ended up making a 6 hour round trip to Denver and back to Monarch to retrieve some parts. *Product Release* AMS Nissan GTR R-35 90mm Race Exhaust

AMS Nissan GT-R 90mm Race Exhaust

AMS Nissan GT-R R35 90mm Race Exhaust

The AMS Nissan GT-R 90mm Race Exhaust is one of the most free-flowing performance-based exhausts on the market. Through our many years of experience in the design of aftermarket turbo exhaust systems, we noted that a higher level of performance could be achieved with improved routing and increased tube diameter over the existing stock GT-R exhaust design. While the stock and many other popular exhaust systems on the market feature intricate bends that would impede upon efficient exhaust flow, AMS decided to develop a system that would incorporate mild bends and deliver exhaust gases from midpipe to tip in the most direct way possible without sacrificing fitment. This, coupled with a large 90mm primary pipe that gently flares into two 76mm secondary pipes made it possible to further reduce undesired backpressure and turbulence. To cap it off, four polished OEM-style tips were chosen to continue our overall goal in the AMS GT-R engineering project – which was to retain as much OEM-styling as possible in order to build some extremely potent stock-appearing GT-R’S.
